24 Hours in Bozeman

Sleep: Gallatin River Lodge is absolutely the best place to stay in Bozeman. It’s not downtown, but it’s close. It’s not cheap, but it’s incredible. Cradled by 350 quiet, scenic acres by the Gallatin River, the Gallatin River Lodge is a simple yet luxurious wooden lodge that has six guest rooms - each with a jacuzzi, perfectly firm beds, incredibly soft sheets and insanely beautiful views. Steve, the owner, is super down to earth and will meet your needs without being overly fussy or formal. An avid fisherman, Steve runs famously popular fly-fishing and horseback riding excursions from the lodge. Dine downstairs at the Gallatin River Grill, which serves delicious local specialties like bison and walleye in a beautifully intimate setting, with great wines. You’ll never want to leave this place!
