Best Dinner Ever: The Blackbird Kitchen is a European bistro that’s modern, rustic and inviting. It’s also my favorite restaurant on the planet. Every meal - and I’ve eaten here a lot - has been this nourishing experience that goes way beyond good food. With a menu that changes daily, unpretentious staff and a warm, buzzing ambience, owners Shannon and Josh will make you feel like a guest in their own home. Everything at the Blackbird is handmade with high quality ingredients and lots of love - from the scrumptious thin-crust pizzas (think scallop and sorrel pesto) and unbelievable salads, to the iron chandeliers and hand-soldered wood-burning oven. My favorites: kale Caesar salad and the roast chicken.
